  Advantages of Group Piano:   Longer Lessons – Lessons will be a full hour.  Social Development – Being among friends makes learning fun and builds confidence that will last a lifetime.  Ensembles – playing different parts of a song at the same time with other people give the students experience at playing music in a group or band and develops better sight-reading.  Motivation and Practice – Students are highly motivated by what they see each other doing and therefore get inspired to practice more and to try new things.  Less Inhibited – because they play in front of other people every week in class, the students become comfortable with audiences and are less inhibited to play in front of friends, relatives, or strangers.  It’s Fun – The group setting offers the opportunity for games that that can only be done as a group and help to make learning fun.  Positive Competition – Students are more likely to practice and come prepared knowing they are accountable to the other students. This healthy spirit of competition encourages them to do well in class.      Rythmicks Group Piano Lessons   This is the very beginning class of group piano no experience needed. Students should have elementary reading skills, be able to sit for an hour of instruction, be able to practice 5 days a week 15-20 minutes a day (90 minutes minimum). Practice times, days, and pass offs will be recorded each week. Registration fee includes t-shirt and binder. Books will be purchased by the student.  Cost: $80/month + books (books are approximately $35 and ordered after the first lesson to ensure each student is placed in the correct class).  Lessons: Weekly and 1 hour each.  When: Mondays 3:30-4:30pm  Where: 22321 E Creekside Ct. Queen Creek, AZ 85142.      Crescendos Group Piano Lessons   This class is for students with a basic understanding of hand positions, key identification, Middle C and C Position hand positions and note names. They should be able to identify all the notes in the treble clef staff and most in the bass clef. Should be able to play all the songs in the Purple Primer Level Piano Adventure Method Books and have a minimum of 1-2 years of lessons This class will begin in August in the Level 1 (Red) Piano Adventure Books. Students will be asked to practice 5 days a week for 30 minutes a day (2 hours minimum). Students must test into this class.  Cost: $80/month + books.  Lessons: Weekly and 1 hour each.  When: Wednesday’s at 6:00-7:00 PM  Where: 22321 E Creekside Ct. Queen Creek, AZ 85142.    Fortes Group Piano Lessons   This class is for student who have completed at least 2-3 years of piano and can play all or most the songs in the Level 1 & 2a (Red and Blue) Piano Adventures Series. Students should be able to competently play with a metronome and clap out complex rhythms. Students should demonstrate an ability to read all the notes on the treble and bass clefs to include some ledger line notes. Students should be able to play with both hands separate rhythms. Students should be able to play songs from various hand positions (such as C, G, F, and D hand positions. Students will be asked to practice 5 days a week for 30-40 minutes a day (2.5-3 hours a week) Students must test in to this class.  Cost: $80/month + books.  Lessons: Weekly and 1 hour each.  When: Wednesday’s at 6:00-7:00 PM  Where: 22321 E Creekside Ct. Queen Creek, AZ 85142.     Maestros Group Piano Lessons   This is an advanced class. Students must have a minimum of 3-4 years of piano. Students must be able to play all or most the songs from books 2b & (orange & teal) Piano Adventure Series. Students should be able to read all notes competently, play complex rhythms in both hands, know how to sight read. Be able to play songs with chords and be able to identify what kind of chord it is. This level should be able to play out of the Hanon book series. Students in this class with also have individual pieces as well as group pieces to learn. Students will be asked to practice 5 days a week for 30-45 minutes a day (2.5-3 hours a week minimum) Students must test into this class.  Cost: $80/month + books.  Lessons: Weekly and 1 hour each.
